Step1.Warm-up

1. Free talk:

Where is your pencil-case/eraser/ruler……?

What can you see in the classroom?

2. Let’s chant: Daddy,mummy,good baby

To present the word “ home”.

Step2.Presentation

Presentation of the new words.

T show a picture of Amy.

T:Who is this girl?

S:She is Amy.

T:Yes,she’s Amy.Look,this is Amy’s home.

T put the picture of Amy in the study.

T:Where’s she?

S:zai shu fang.

T: Yes.How to say it in English?

S:Study..

T teaches the word “study”. At the same time,use the games“little train.go go go”, “I say Chinese,you say English”……to practise the word.

The same way to present these words ：“bathroom”, “living room”, “bedroom” and “kitchen”.

Presentation of the sentences.

T:Now I’m Amy.This is my home. What can you see in my home?

S:I can see a study,a bathroom,a living room,a bedroom and a kitchen.

T:This is my home.You can see a study,a bathroom,a living room,a bedroom and a kitchen.

Ask Ss to take out their pictures of their homes and introduce their homes to others like me.

Step3.Play a guessing game: One S show the body langue.Another one guess which room is he/she in?

Step 4.Teach the verb phrases in Let’s do.Then,play the tape of it.Let Ss listen and follow it.

Step5. Homework

1. Read and write the new words.

2. Introduce your home to your partners.
